Download Darebase Test for Windows

Getting started:

Click the button above to download and the zip file then once it’s finished, extract it to a folder. Inside there is an icon called “Run Darebase”, open this to start the game.

Darebase should run on just about any PC which runs Windows 10.

If it’s the first time you have played, the game will ask you for a Player name, email address and password to create your account.

You can change your profile picture in the settings menu, there are a selection to choose from. You will be able to upload your own custom display pictures in a later version of the game.

The game is played with the Arrow keys to move, and space to sprint.

Teams

Each player has their own team. You can join a team by pressing the team button in the bottom left of the screen, then pressing join team. This will give you a list of all available teams to join.

Once you have sorted out teams and the players have all readied up, one of the captains can press the “Random match” button. This will start a match between their team and another team who have readied up but are not in a game.

The game

The game ends when a player runs round the opposing base, and back to their base.

Sprinting uses stamina, and stamina protects you from being captured. Recharge your stamina at your home base.

If a player is captured, their team mates can rescue them by running in to the enemy base.

Other stuff

You will probably come accross this dialogue or similar when you first try and run the game. You’ll need to press the “allow access” button to allow Darebase to communicate online.

Currently the only way to leave a team once you have joined is to quit the game and start it back up again.
