Roadmap for 2012

First of all, let me start by wishing all you guys and girls out there a Happy New Year 😀

It’s going to be a busy year for us here at the WotC with lots of new and exciting projects on the way, as well as finishing off a few trusty old ones.  And for those of you who are following such things, here is a rough layout of our plan for 2012…

Dave’s Game Template
Still actively in development, and we are currently writing a simplified mobile equivalent of the template as well.  Our first mobile game has an estimated release date of the start of Q2, on the Android platform with the iOS version hopefully at the start of Q3.

There are currently Two titles in development for Windows platforms which use DGT, which we hope will be completed around the beginning of Q3 as well.

Bitmap Font Creator
Progress has been slow on this project.  Although we do have an almost functional C# rewrite of the app, the initial debugging is taking a lot longer than anticipated.  More news to follow soon.

Our longest ever title in development, and currently the major test platform for the Game Template.  The game itself is pretty much written, and it is only waiting on completion of the template for tweaking and bug fixing and any conversion work to be done to work with the new Template UI stuff.

Slime Blast!
Our first mobile game, a simple and fun shooter based affair.  This is aimed for completion at the beginning of Q2 of 2012 and will be available on Android and iOS initially, but possibly other platforms as well.
